Kapanlagi.com - Arumi Bachsin, who is now based in Surabaya, East Java, accompanies her husband's duties as the Deputy Governor of East Java. Now, this 30-year-old woman is currently in Jakarta to meet her family and some friends in the capital city.
"Want to fast and meet with immediate and extended family, just eat together. Most of the time in Jakarta is spent meeting friends," said Arumi when met in Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta, not long ago.
During her stay in Surabaya, Arumi Bachsin apparently really misses the food in Jakarta.
What's interesting is that the food she misses is not difficult to find, even very easy to find in various places.
"Cilok, because in Surabaya the taste of cilok is different, only the meatballs are delicious. But in Jakarta, cilok is delicious, it reminds me of fried snacks. I want to try the viral ones," said Arumi.
Arumi then admitted that there is no difference even though she has been a government official's wife for years.
However, her social circle is now broader, not only among celebrities.
"There is no difference for me, it's just that her life is different and even broader. In the past, I only befriended fellow artists, but now it's wider," said Arumi.
"Expanding social circles, networks, and learning some things from protocols and so on," she concluded.
