Apparently, Youtuber Atta Halilintar had a dream that he could never achieve. Before becoming the owner of Pendekar United club, Atta Halilintar once dreamed of becoming a professional futsal player.
In order to pursue his dream, the husband of Aurel Hermansyah admitted that he wanted to participate in several professional team selections. However, at that time, he was always late and didn't get the chance to register for a training session.
Therefore, feeling that he had no access or opportunity to join a professional team, Atta honed his futsal talent by participating in street futsal matches.
"I have a dream of becoming a professional futsal player, but I don't know how to get there. I've participated in various selections but couldn't make it," said Atta Halilintar when met in the Senayan area of South Jakarta on Monday (26/2).
"I once wanted to try joining an academy but didn't get a spot, then there was a local tournament that I participated in," he continued.
Because his dream of becoming a professional player didn't come true, Atta eventually chose a different path by becoming a club owner. He said that he did this as a transition in order to fulfill his unachievable childhood dream.
"I chose the path of becoming a club owner because I really like the competition's tagline 'Realize Your Dream'," he said.
Because of his seriousness in forming Pendekar United, Atta was finally appointed as the brand ambassador of the futsal tournament Piala By.U. He does not deny that the opportunity he received is truly a breath of fresh air that answers his dreams.
Moreover, through the futsal tournament Piala By.U, Atta can see young talents in the futsal world that align with his intention to build Pendekar United.
"I created Pendekar United because I wanted to create young talents. I was criticized because there was no competition target, but now many are looking for young talents," he said.
