Boiyen's Husband Faces New Article, Complainant's Lawyer: The Penalty is Heavier than Fraud!

Kapanlagi.com - The legal case involving comedian Boiyen's husband, Rully Anggi Akbar (RAA), has yet to reach a resolution. After being officially reported for allegations of fraud and embezzlement, the complainants have now revealed findings of new alleged criminal acts that could lead to heavier penalties for Rully.

The complainant's lawyer, Santo Nababan, stated that these findings emerged after Rully and his team provided clarifications and denials some time ago. Santo believes that the statements made by Rully have backfired and opened up new legal avenues.

"This new article clearly carries a heavier penalty than the articles we have already reported. The threat of punishment is greater than the articles we have reported. That's why I said we are thankful for the clarifications and denials," he said when met in the Tebet area of South Jakarta on Thursday (15/01/2026).

Previously, Rully was reported under Articles 378 and 372 of the Criminal Code regarding fraud and embezzlement. However, after an internal case review following Rully's clarifications, the complainant's legal team is convinced that other criminal elements have been fulfilled. Santo even provided hints regarding Article 607 of the new law related to investments and the misuse of accounts.

"So that's the first thing, yes." Secondly, we would also like to thank the legal counsel of RAA and RAA itself, where after we heard and saw the video, we finally believe there is an allegation of a new criminal act," he added.

Santo also mentioned the oddity of using personal accounts for company business. Rully's reason for claiming that the company account had issues was deemed unreasonable by the reporting party. This has become one of the strong bases for the suspicion of more serious legal violations.

"Oh my, I can't help but laugh here. What's the story, Mas? I want to ask you friends this. There are people collaborating using the name of a business, right? The business is running and has an account number. Suddenly there are people wanting to invest, but because this account number is said to have issues, they use a personal account number. Do you think that's odd?" Santo sneered.

The reporting party emphasized that they will not take this legal process lightly. If Rully does not immediately show genuine goodwill, they are ready to continue the report with additional articles that are more burdensome.
