Bunga Zainal Visits Polda Metro Jaya, Questions the Progress of Her Case Related to Investment Fraud

Her visit was related to the allegations of investment fraud that she had previously reported. This case involves two suspects with the initials AAACD and SFSS, who are alleged to have caused losses of up to Rp 6.2 billion.

The case began on August 22, 2024, when Bunga Zainal reported two suspects, AAACD and SFSS, to Polda Metro Jaya. The report was related to allegations of investment fraud amounting to Rp 6.2 billion, and the legal process continues despite many challenges faced.

1. Schedule Additional Examination

"Today the agenda includes an additional examination. The documents are actually almost complete, but there are a few additional things that need to be completed so that it can be immediately P21," said Bunga Zainal at the Metro Jaya Police, Wednesday (5/3/2025).

This additional examination focuses on the location of the incident and the evidence of transactions that took place. According to Bunga, the money was handed over at two different places, namely at the office and her home located in West Jakarta.

After reporting this case, the investigation began in November 2024. Investigators examined the reported party, the reporter, and witnesses to gather evidence. In February 2025, both suspects were finally designated as suspects and arrested after admitting that they provided a fake purchase order (PO) to Bunga Zainal.

"We emphasize that the incident indeed occurred in Jakarta. If the suspects' alibi is in another city, we have strong evidence that all transactions took place here," he asserted.

3. Ensure the Trial is Held in Jakarta

Since the incident took place in Jakarta, Bunga ensures that the trial will also be held in the same area. This is in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.

"Yes, because the incident occurred in Jakarta," she revealed.

It is known that the investment money transferred by Bunga Zainal from December 2021 to June 2022 was not used for the promised purpose. Instead, the money was used to pay investment profits to other victims. Now, Bunga Zainal is preparing to testify in court and reveal the modus operandi of the suspects.

4. Questioning the Legal Process

In addition to undergoing additional examinations, the legal process in this case has not gone smoothly. Bunga Zainal feels frustrated because the process is too slow. She questions why other cases can be announced quickly, while hers remains unresolved. Bunga also questions the police's reason for not holding a press conference regarding this case. According to her, many parties are asking when the perpetrators will be shown to the public.

"Well, this is why I came here, besides the examination, I also want to ask the PMJ, the Head of Public Relations, why my case has not yet had a press release," she said.

5. Suspect Arrested, But Questions Remain

After the designation of suspect status, Bunga Zainal visited the Metro Jaya Police to monitor the progress of her case. She felt puzzled because other cases with the same suspect status could be processed more quickly for a press conference. This made her wonder if there was a difference in treatment regarding her case.

"At the same time, I am asking this because it has been quite a while since we were elevated to suspect status until now. Many media friends are also asking," she added.

6. Bunga Zainal's Frustration

"In other cases, as soon as there is a suspect, a press release is issued. But in my case, why not? I'm just asking, let's not have different treatments," she said.

Although the legal process continues, Bunga Zainal cannot hide her disappointment. She hopes that justice will soon be realized and that the legal process will not drag on.
