Kapanlagi.com - In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic like this, husband and wife couple Rizky Kinos and Nycta Gina came up with the idea of selling surabi. Rizky Kinos shared the story behind the creation of surabi, which is his favorite snack made by his mother-in-law.
"So surabi is a food that has been around for a long time. When I was dating Gina, my mother-in-law used to make this surabi for me," said Rizky Kinos during the Facebook Rakit Bangkit Social For Good event some time ago.
"But during the pandemic, I accidentally received some surabi from my mother-in-law while snacking and I couldn't stop eating it. I decided to open a pre-order in the afternoon or evening, and it was flooded with orders at night," he continued.
Rizky Kinos and Nycta Gina never expected that their business, which was initially just a trial, would receive an incredible response from their followers on Instagram.
"I came up with a really silly idea, but it turned out to be a big success. It's amazing how we survived this (business) of surabi with such an extraordinary response. It's a concrete example of creativity that is very useful and beneficial in the midst of this pandemic," said Rizky Kinos.
Even just from this surabi business, they earned income of up to tens of millions of rupiah.
"It's been going on until now, the response has been very good. It's quite profitable, earning tens of millions of rupiah from this small surabi business," concluded Rizky Kinos.
Engaging in positive activities to fill free time during the pandemic can be beneficial. Just like what Rizky Kinos and Nycta Gina did, who succeeded with their surabi business.
KLovers should also stay positive even though the pandemic situation has not fully improved yet. #RememberMother'sMessage, wear a mask, regularly wash hands, and maintain distance.
