The corona pandemic does indeed affect everyone, including the members of the band Repvblik who can no longer perform. To earn additional income, they have to think creatively to continue generating revenue.

Repvblik's keyboardist, Tyar, chose to open a DJ studio in Bogor called K2 Studio. One of his motivations for opening this studio is to educate people that DJing is not limited to 'nightclub music'.

"DJing is not negative music, most DJ music lovers are from the nightlife community. There are plenty of DJ music below 100bpm. That's what many people can accept, and everyone," Tyar explained.

Until now, Tyar's studio has at least 14 active students who regularly study. The price for one training session is Rp 100,000 for two hours or Rp 3.5 million for 6 meetings.

His own turnover is still not much, but Ei is grateful to still be able to earn income. "There are no difficulties, but serving customers is a new and enjoyable experience for me," said Ei.

Unlike Lavy, the bassist of Repvblik who chose to open a vape shop. This business was opened because of his hobby and Lavy is also an electronic cigarette user.

"At first, it was awkward. How to serve customers because I don't have sales talent. But I tried to treat customers like friends so there are no limits to be more familiar," he said.
