Suffering from dry diabetes and bone calcification, Fahmi Bo can no longer go anywhere. He lives in a boarding room located on the 2nd floor. Fahmi has difficulty walking even just to stand; he can only endure for a few seconds.
Unable to take on work let alone filming, Fahmi now supports himself from the results of TikTok live. He admitted that initially a friend created a TikTok account for him.
"At first I took it lightly, what is TikTok? I don't like playing on social media, they said this could be live. A week or two I was contacted, they said I was quick to play, told to go live," Fahmi said when met by kapanlagi.com at his boarding house in the Rawa Belong area, South Jakarta, Thursday (19/6/2025).
"From there, thank God when I appeared on TikTok many gave gifts. At first, I didn't know what gifts were, and it was quite significant, receiving hundreds of thousands, I was happy, oh God, it turns out there are results, I was taught how to take it," he continued.
During live sessions, Fahmi usually sings. Sometimes he only reads the comments from the audience. He admitted that he never asks for gifts but is grateful if someone gives him a gift. "Just be grateful for whatever happens, enjoy it whether the results are big or small," said Fahmi.
Furthermore, Fahmi revealed that he once received a whale gift. "Yes. The first time I opened TikTok (I received a whale gift), it was the biggest, and since then it has decreased more and more. Well, that’s how I am now, yes. Now my budget is only for TikTok live," said Fahmi.
Fahmi mentioned that he last filmed in 2022. At that time, his legs had started to hurt, so he couldn't perform optimally in front of the camera.
"The last filming in 2022 was for Tukang Ojek Pengkolan. By then, my legs were already hurting, right? I was pushing (the cart) and it hurt. Then during filming, I didn’t want to stand, so I was always arguing with the assistant director. I wanted to sit, but I couldn't handle the filming because I was already in pain," emphasized the actor who became famous for his role as Gusur in LUPUS MILENIA.
