Case of Karen Pooroe's Abduction Stopped, Lawyer Reveals Witnesses Didn't See the Incident

Kapanlagi.com - The South Jakarta Police reportedly issued a termination of investigation (SP3) regarding the alleged case of assault and pistol abduction. The report was filed by Karen Pooroe against her husband, Arya Satria Claproth, and his family.

Karen Pooroe's lawyer, Wemmy Amanupunyo, stated that he has received information regarding the termination of investigation (SP3) from the police.

1. Witnesses Didn't See

He mentioned that the reason the report was terminated is because the witnesses didn't actually see what happened. The incident took place inside a house and couldn't be visually seen by the witnesses.

"All the witnesses didn't directly see the incident because it happened inside the house. Those outside the fence couldn't see it because the door was closed, so even if there was a bomb, people wouldn't believe it," he said when contacted on Tuesday (24/3/2020).

2. Denies Making False Report

However, he denies having made a false report. Wemmy stated that it is impossible for him to make a report about an untrue incident.

"But if you say this is a false report, it's funny because earlier I said how could we make a report if the incident is not true. So, let them defend themselves if they want to, go ahead," he added.
