Artist Agung Saga finally speaks up about why he started using drugs again and eventually got caught by the police for the second time.
According to the 32-year-old man, the reason for using drugs again is because of the influence of his environment.
"Influenced (reason for using drugs)," said Agung Saga during a press conference at the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Wednesday (31/3).
When consuming these illicit goods, Agung Saga admitted that he was not forced by anyone. He consumed the type of drugs, namely methamphetamine, due to environmental factors that eventually led him to fall back into addiction.
"No, it's not because of influence (from others)," said Agung Saga.
The incident occurred about a month ago. He expressed regret for relapsing into drug use and subsequently being caught again by the police.
"It's only been a month (since I started using drugs again)," Agung Saga concluded.
As a reminder, Agung Saga was arrested by the police in relation to a drug case on April 9, 2019. The arrest took place in front of Circle K on Petogogan II Street, Gandaria Utara, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.
From the arrest, the police successfully secured evidence in the form of a small plastic clip containing 0.28 grams of crystal methamphetamine.
