Cesen Finally Underwent Surgery Because of Marshel Widianto's Pressure, Initially Indifferent to the Pain

After enduring pain since 2017, Cesen finally mustered the courage to go under the knife in 2026. This significant decision was made not solely out of her own initiative but thanks to the strong encouragement from her husband, Marshel Widianto. Marshel did not want his wife to continue living in the shadow of an old injury that had not healed.

Cesen admitted that she had resigned herself and gotten used to the pain that often arose. She felt that cramps and aches were a part of her daily life. However, Marshel insisted that his wife receive the best medical treatment so she could fully recover as she once was.

"Yes, this was forced by Marshel. So actually, I was like, just be indifferent, I mean, I’m used to these cramps, it’s okay. But Marshel was different, he said no, you really have to start over, you have to heal this. He fully supports me," said Cesen.

Marshel's support is not just in words. The top comedian showed his seriousness by asking Cesen to undergo treatment until completion. In the end, they agreed to 'reset' Cesen's health condition this year.

"Yeah, yeah, he really wants it like, come on, if it can be healed, heal it, heal it. In the end, we just reset this 2026 and everyone bravely faced it," he added.

The surgical process that Cesen underwent was not brief. She had to spend hours in the operating room and go through a fairly long recovery period in the hospital. This certainly posed a challenge for the young mother.

"About 4 to 5 hours yesterday in the operating room. No, it wasn't for days. Just the recovery took a long time, I was in the hospital for 14 days," reminisced Cesen.

During the two-week recovery period, Marshel's role was crucial. He was willing to sacrifice his job to accompany his wife through the difficult times after the surgery and a series of other medical tests.

"He was there every day. He even had to cancel some work because he had to accompany me for the surgery. Because I had quite a few procedures, I mean I had an endoscopy, and then there was another one, I forgot the name, it’s not endoscopy but it was also inserted from below," explained the short-haired woman.

The medical procedure that Cesen has to undergo is indeed quite complicated and exhausting. In addition to the main surgery, she also has to undergo various laboratory tests to ensure her body is ready for the procedure.

"And then this surgery procedure, plus I still have to take blood, samples, there are so many lab tests I had to go through yesterday," she concluded.
