Kapanlagi.com - The Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Kombes Endra Zulpan, confirmed the existence of a police report at the Bekasi Metro Police Station regarding an alleged assault by action actor Iko Uwais.
Zulpan even said that the report was not only aimed at Audi Item's husband. There were other names reported by the victim of the assault.
"So, it is true that there is a case reported at the Bekasi Metro Police Station against the suspect named Iko Uwais and his friend, Firmansyah, two people," said Zulpan when met at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Headquarters, South Jakarta, on Monday (13/6).
Zulpan revealed that the victim of the assault allegedly committed by Iko Uwais and his friend named Rudi, who lives in Bekasi, West Java.
"Reported on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 8:00 pm. The reporter who became the victim is named Rudi, a man born in 1979. He lives in Sumarecon Bekasi," said Zulpan.
The incident began when Iko Uwais used Rudi's services to build his house in Cibubur. Rudi himself is an interior designer.
"Then, with an agreement with a certain nominal amount, only half was paid. After that, it was demanded by the victim. The victim means the person who works in the interior design of his house," explained Zulpan.
At that time, the victim sent an invoice via WhatsApp to demand payment. However, Iko Uwais did not respond to it.
"After that, on Saturday, June 11, 2022, when the victim and the victim's wife were passing in front of Iko Uwais' house, Iko Uwais' sibling called out to the victim by clapping and shouting, and then the victim and his wife got out of the car," said Zulpan.
"Then Iko Uwais, along with Firmansyah and Audi, Iko Uwais' wife, approached the victim and the victim's wife," Zulpan added.
After that, a quarrel broke out between them and suddenly, Iko Uwais and his friend immediately attacked the victim, causing him to be injured.
"Subsequently, the victim reported the matter to the Bekasi Kota Metro Police Station," he said.
Now the case is under investigation. Investigators have already questioned the victim and two other witnesses who were at the scene of the incident.
"Then the next step, of course, will be scheduling a summons for Iko Uwais," he concluded.
