Video Luna Maya got angry during a meeting at the office and even slammed the table, which went viral on social media. The video, uploaded by the TikTok account @makciiim, received various comments from netizens. To avoid further confusion, Luna Maya then clarified the matter.
Luna Maya stated that the incident was not staged and actually happened. Luna Maya's anger stemmed from her request to create a campaign for her team.
"So I want to clarify a little bit, so I did ask the marketing team to create a campaign about one of the products. The campaign has been submitted but in my opinion, it's not good enough," said Luna Maya via TikTok account @racunpublicfigure.
"The incident (submitting the campaign) happened before the viral video meeting. I gave them a chance to revise it. And when it was presented, it was far from my expectations," she said.
Luna doesn't deny that she was angry in the video. It happened solely because of her frustration towards the team whose work did not meet her expectations.
"In the video you saw, I think the campaign is not related to the product at all, and I was quite annoyed. Because it didn't meet what I expected," she continued.
Luna Maya then mentioned that she regrets the actions of the individual who recorded and uploaded the video. According to her, the person is a colleague of the employee whom Luna was scolding in the room.
However, she admitted to resolving the issue. She had called the perpetrator in a good manner and explained that what she did was not ethically right.
"Ethically regrettable, it is (recording without permission) something that should not be emulated. It can lead to different assumptions. We have called the person. We explained that it was not good, and now it has been resolved in a familial manner," she concluded.
