Kapanlagi.com - Soap opera actor Jupiter Fortissimo admitted to being surprised when he heard rumors circulating about him during his time in prison due to a drug case that befell him. One of the widespread news was that Jupiter had died.
In April 2018, Jupiter drew public attention because photos depicting his condition during his time in prison were circulating on social media.
In the photos that were circulating, Jupiter's body looked very worrying, thin with wounds on his skin.
"Wow, it's funny, when I was inside (prison) I got this disease, what disease, it was a few years ago, two years ago if I'm not mistaken, I heard a rumor from my friends, they said I died," said Jupiter Fortissimo in the Jatisampurna area, Bekasi, West Java, on Tuesday (12/3/2024).
"Then yesterday there was a post from my soap opera, some teenagers commented, 'wow, this soap opera (ABG) is the late Jupiter, hahaha.' I immediately answered, no, I'm still alive. So that's what happened," Jupiter added.
However, Jupiter admitted that his condition is not as active as before after spending 4 years and 9 months in prison.
"I'm still healthy, but not as active as before, because I've been used to being inside, locked up for 4 years and 9 months. When I got out, I worked a little bit, it was tiring. So maybe I need to do more exercise. But so far, I'm healthy," he said.
Jupiter also mentioned that during his time in prison, he was often rumored to have passed away.
"Yes, that happened two years ago and my friends asked me. Maybe people thought that way, since they hadn't seen me for a long time, and I was inside for some reason, but the truth is, I'm still alive," he concluded.
Just for your information, Jupiter Fortissimo has been imprisoned twice for drug-related cases. The first time was in 2016, where he was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison. Not long after his release, Jupiter encountered the same problem again. He was arrested by the police for a drug-related case in 2019.
