Danar Widianto Confused After Participating in X Factor Indonesia

Kapanlagi.com - Singer and X Factor Indonesia Season 3 talent show contestant, Danar Widianto, has just released his fourth single titled Perjalanan. This song was written by Danar together with his friend, Tio Satrio, after completing the X Factor Indonesia competition.

"At that time, I asked my friend, Tio Satrio. We had just finished the competition and wanted to go back to Jogja, Satrio's hometown," said Danar Widianto when visiting the KapanLagi Youniverse office, Thursday (26/10/2023).

"Then I asked, 'What should we do after the competition? Are we still confused about what to do next, whether it's another competition or entering the industry?'", added Danar.

Danar then revealed a new reason for releasing the song Journey in October 2023. However, Danar admitted that he had written this song since last year.

“Why choose this song, because maybe it has been through many difficult and happy journeys. And this is a late moment and just found the arrangement,” he said.

As a singer who has only been in the Indonesian music industry for one year, Danar has learned a lot from musicians who have collaborated with him, including Pay Burman and Dede Kumala.

“I gained a lot of knowledge from them. How they produce music, how they handle music well, how they adjust the music to the singer and the songwriter,” he concluded.
