Davina Karamoy shows a cooperative attitude in the investigation of the alleged fraud case involving Hanania Travel. After undergoing questioning as a witness, the 23-year-old actress handed over the money she had received from the travel agency to the investigators.
Davina's attorney, Yulius Irawansyah, explained that the money was pocket money given when his client was involved in a promotional collaboration for umrah departures.
"We were paid, which means we were given pocket money. The amount was Rp10 million per departure," said Yulius at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, Thursday (18/6/2026).
According to Yulius, the refund was made at Davina's own discretion. This step was taken to avoid any issues related to the flow of funds that are currently being investigated by the authorities.
"But just now, with full awareness, we have returned the pocket money," he said.
Davina emphasized that this decision is a form of her responsibility as a party who once benefited from the collaboration with Hanania Travel.
"I am just returning what is rightfully mine, which I did receive," said Davina.
Although she returned the promotional pocket money, Davina reiterated that she is also a consumer who personally spent money to use the services of Hanania Travel. In 2025, she and her family reportedly paid Rp223.3 million for their umrah trip.
Currently, the Metro Jaya Police are still investigating the flow of funds and allegations of embezzlement in this case. Several artists, influencers, and other public figures have also been questioned to assist in the investigation process.
