Defendant Distributor of Pornographic Videos Involving Syahrini's Name Faces 8 Years in Prison

"Today, in the trial, I met the defendant through a zoom meeting. Because of the pandemic, everything is done virtually. I saw the defendant directly for the first time because all this time I only saw him on TV when he was arrested," she added.

1. Sentenced to 8 Years in Prison

Syahrini hopes that the defendant can be sentenced to 8 years in prison because the previous threat was 12 years. She admitted that she reported this because she couldn't stand seeing posts containing insults and slander every day.

"After this, hopefully, he will be directly sentenced to 8 years in prison because the threat of punishment is 12 years in prison. Because he posted insults against me, continuous slander, blindly every day where I didn't know the beginning. Until now, I have never paid attention or responded to anything, you know. Because I think I have often been treated like that by irresponsible accounts," said Syahrini.

2. Already Married and Has a Husband

Furthermore, Syahrini's strong reason for reporting the defendant is that she claimed to be already married and have a husband.

"But my position this time is different. I am already married, I already have a husband. Of course, this greatly disturbs my husband's capacity as the head of the household, so he wants to follow up and immediately report it when that day he posted a pornographic video that he made, engineered as if it were me. It has been proven in the Panel of Judges, he has admitted that it was not Syahrini," she said.
