Demanded to Pay Compensation of Rp800 Million for Cancelling WO Elma Theana, Ferry Irawan Clarifies

Kapanlagi.com - Approaching their wedding day, instead of good news, an unpleasant rumor surrounds the couple Ferry Irawan and Venna Melinda. It is reported that Venna and Ferry have to pay compensation of Rp 800 million to the Wedding Organizer (WO) owned by Elma Theana.

According to circulating reports, Venna and Ferry unilaterally canceled the use of Elma's WO services. Due to this cancellation, Elma Theana's WO suffered losses of up to Rp800 million. Moreover, Elma also has to bear the burden of vendors who also feel disadvantaged by Ferry and Venna. 

Because of this, the couple who will hold their wedding ceremony on March 7, 2022, in Bali are being asked to take responsibility. However, Ferry himself said that this is not a debt that needs to be paid. 

Quoting from Insertlive, Venna Melinda's future husband said that he and Venna have no knowledge of the wedding expenses. 

"I also want to clarify that I do not owe any WO, and Venna's family, especially Mami Ayu, never questioned the engagement issue," said Ferry Irawan quoted from Insertlive, Sunday (6/3).

Furthermore, Ferry tries to clarify the news that he considers untrue. He said that he and Venna do not owe Rp800 million to WO Elma Theana at all. 

"Venna and I never think negatively about others, I am just clarifying what has been circulating these past few weeks, especially the claim that we owe hundreds of millions, that's not true. I guarantee it's not true," said the 45-year-old actor. 

2. Endorsement

From the beginning, Ferry revealed that his marriage to Venna was endorsed by WO Elma Theana. In fact, he and Venna had no knowledge of the finances of that WO at all. 

"Actually, from the beginning, I never knew the exact amount. But I thought it wasn't a debt and endorsement wasn't our request, we also didn't know the amount," Ferry explained. 

3. Self-Funded

Ferry stated that his wedding reception held in Bali was self-funded. He denied allegations of any endorsements for the event.

"Yes, so in Bali, the full cost is from me, there are no endorsements. From the beginning, I didn't think about getting married because of endorsements," he said as quoted by Inserlive on 25/2/2022.

4. Planned for a Long Time

Ferry also added that he had been preparing for the wedding reception in Bali for a long time. He asked Venna for help in managing all the arrangements with the organizers.

"So I had planned to marry Venna in Bali a long time ago. I have already allocated the budget there. I transferred the money to Venna, and Venna transferred it to the party in Bali," he continued.

5. Getting Married in Bali

Reportedly, Ferry Irawan and Venna Melinda will hold their wedding ceremony in Bali on March 7, 2022. This wedding event will be held simply and attended only by family and close relatives. 

After officially becoming husband and wife, Ferry and Venna will immediately go on their honeymoon in Bali. And their plan is to also hold a thanksgiving event on March 20 when they are already in Jakarta.
