Denny Sumargo Undergoes Eye Bag Surgery and Hair Treatment

Denny Sumargo's appearance often receives praise for being fit and youthful at the age of 44. He also revealed several treatments that he routinely undergoes to support that appearance.

Densu, as he is affectionately called, mentioned that he underwent hair treatment to address thinning that occurs with age. He stated that the treatment has started to show results.

"How come you look so youthful? Here, there is some baldness because it is starting to recede; usually, older people have thinning hair here. Well, yesterday, I did a treatment at one of the clinics, and it has started to grow some baby hairs," said Denny Sumargo when met in West Jakarta on Wednesday (15/7/2026).

1. Eye Bag Surgery Process

In addition to hair care, Denny also underwent eye bag surgery in South Korea. He mentioned that the decision started from a suggestion from his wife, Olivia Allan, who noticed that his eye bags were getting thicker due to his habit of staying up late.

"Huh? I had surgery for that in Korea before. Because at that time, Ci Oliv saw that my eye bags were really thick. Because I often work late. So sometimes I lose track of time until they get thick," he revealed.

Denny admitted that he initially refused the suggestion. However, he eventually agreed to undergo the procedure after being convinced that appearance is also part of his responsibility in the entertainment industry.

"Then Ci Oliv said, 'Honey, you should have surgery on those eye bags.' 'I don’t want to.' 'Well, you need to, because you work in entertainment, it’s also part of your responsibility.' 'Ah, I don’t want to,' but in the end, that's how it is. It’s tough when it’s with your wife, dude," he said.

2. Uncomfortable with Botox

Although undergoing several treatments, Denny emphasizes that he does not use botox. He admits to being uncomfortable with the effects it causes.

“No, I don’t have botox. Because botox doesn’t suit me. I’m not really fond of the principle of botox, because it pulls you tight, right? It’s uncomfortable, later when I talk, you know,” he concluded.
