Deny Irish Bella's Accusation, Ammar Zoni's Legal Counsel Presents Non-Alcoholic Beer Can as Evidence

Kapanlagi.com - The divorce trial of Irish Bella and Ammar Zoni was held again at the Religious Court of Depok, West Java, on Thursday (11/1/2024). This time, the trial was scheduled to hear witness testimonies. However, the witness presented by Ammar Zoni's side did not attend the trial.

"So, for the witness, we haven't been able to bring him here because Ammar is currently in custody and he doesn't have the same freedom as Irish. This witness has been recommended by Ammar and we have contacted him, but the timing hasn't been possible," said Ammar Zoni's legal counsel, Jon Mathias, after the trial on Thursday (11/1/2024).

"Because, you know, the father of the witness is sick, and for close family members, too. And for former employees, it's because they are currently working with someone else, so we have to adjust the timing with their permission," he added.

1. Evidence of Non-Alcoholic Beer

In the previous hearing, a witness from Irish Bella's side claimed that the discovery of alcoholic beverages allegedly belonging to Ammar Zoni was the cause of their marital discord.

However, Jon Mathias strongly denied these allegations. According to him, Ammar Zoni only consumed non-alcoholic beer and even brought a can of beer as evidence in court.

"According to ADRT, Ammar often drinks Bintang beer. It is considered an alcoholic beverage, but after we met Ammar, he showed us this. We present it as evidence. This Bintang beer that we present is said to be Bintang beer. It is zero percent alcohol," said Jon Mathias.

"Bintang beer is not an alcoholic beverage, we refute that with this. That was the issue, alcoholic beverages. ADRT said it was Bintang beer. But it is zero percent alcohol, if any journalists want to, they can check it," Jon Mathias continued.

2. Continuation of Divorce Hearing

The next hearing will be held on Thursday next week (18/1/2024) with the agenda of hearing testimony from Ammar Zoni's party.

"Yes, of course, only two close family members. Aditya and Panji," concluded Jon Mathias.
