DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan Tests Positive for Covid-19, Prilly Latuconsina Prays for a Quick Recovery

Kapanlagi.com - Shocking news came from the Governor of Jakarta, Anies Baswedan. After undergoing PCR and swab tests on Monday (30/11/2020), Anies confirmed that he tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.

This certainly shocked and disbelieved many parties, including Prilly Latuconsina. This 24-year-old actress admitted feeling sad upon hearing the news.

"When I found out the news, I was like 'Huh? Oh my God!'. I was really sad. Because I happened to have met him several times at events," said Prilly when interviewed by KapanLagi.com in the Setiabudi area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (1/12/2020).

1. Prayers for a Speedy Recovery

Prilly Latuconsina also prays for the speedy recovery of the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan. As known, he will undergo self-quarantine for two weeks in a separate location from his family's residence.

"Hopefully, he can maintain his health. Hopefully, there will be no serious symptoms and a quick recovery so he can work again. Let's take care of each other. Get well soon. Amen!" Prilly prayed.

2. Working Virtually

Despite being tested positive for the Covid-19 virus, Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, continues to work. He will lead meetings virtually.

"I will continue to work and lead meetings virtually. Since March, we have been accustomed to working virtually and, God willing, there will be no disruptions in the policy-making process," said Anies, as quoted from a video press statement.
