Kapanlagi.com - The attorney for Baim Wong, Fahmi Bachmid, asserted that there is no proven domestic violence (KDRT) in the divorce process between his client and Paula Verhoeven. He stated this in response to Paula's claim that she reported allegations of domestic violence to the National Commission on Violence Against Women.
"If I refer to the considerations in the ruling, based on the considerations in the ruling, there is no KDRT," said Fahmi Bachmid during a conversation with the media via Zoom on Wednesday (30/4/2025).
He added that during the trial, no facts were found that pointed to acts of domestic violence by Baim against Paula. According to him, the judge's ruling also did not mention any violence in any form.
"(Opening the ruling) so based on the ruling in the considerations, it is not proven that there is KDRT," Fahmi continued.

In his view, the domestic violence issue that has surfaced publicly needs to be clarified because it has never been a fact in the trial. He urged all parties to refer to official court documents, not to speculation outside the legal process.
"There are no facts in the trial facts that indicate domestic violence," he asserted.
Previously, Paula Verhoeven had reported allegations of unpleasant treatment in her household to the National Commission on Violence Against Women. However, Fahmi requested that outside parties refrain from interfering with legal considerations in the judge's decision.
He even emphasized the importance of maintaining the independence of the court from external influences while the legal process is still ongoing.
"Yes, I just remind the Women's Commission to be careful in taking a stance because this case is still ongoing in court," said Fahmi.
According to Fahmi, if there are parties dissatisfied with the judge's considerations, they should use official legal channels, not spread opinions to the public.
"If the judge's considerations are objectionable, legal efforts should be made, not complaining here and there," he concluded.
