Failed Mediation, Aaliyah Massaid's Premarital Pregnancy Hoax Case Ready for Trial

Kapanlagi.com - Aaliyah Massaid is currently undergoing legal proceedings regarding the report she filed against several social media accounts that accused her of being pregnant out of wedlock.

This report was submitted by Aaliyah on August 22, 2024, to the Metro Jaya Police, covering two TikTok accounts and one YouTube account that allegedly spread false news.

According to Aaliyah Massaid's attorney and Thariq Halilintar, Sangun Ragahdo, mediation efforts with one of the reported parties did not yield results.

"At that time RJ was present, attended by me as Aaliyah's attorney, accompanied by her husband Thariq, with one of the reported parties who had been summoned at that time already undergoing RJ," said Sangun Ragahdo in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, Sunday (10/11/2024).

1. Not Finding Common Ground

In the mediation session, Aaliyah stood her ground and chose to proceed with the case through legal channels. "It’s just from Aaliyah as the reporter that the deadlock is essentially," said Sangun Ragahdo.

The report submitted by Aaliyah has officially progressed to the investigation stage. Soon, this case will be held to determine the suspect's status.

"Last week, the case just went into investigation. If, for example, after this investigation, the status is raised to that of a suspect," said Sangun Ragahdo.

2. Case Hearing at the National Police Headquarters

Furthermore, Sangun Ragahdo mentioned that the case hearing will be held at the National Police Headquarters. "The article that I reported must be heard at the Headquarters (National Police). So from the Regional Police, they must hold the case at the Criminal Investigation Department, after the hearing at the Headquarters, we will see the results," he explained.

Previously, the heinous accusations against Aaliyah forced her to face quite disturbing slander. The accounts accused, consisting of two TikTok accounts and one YouTube account, are suspected of starting unfounded rumors that then spread widely on social media.
