Tengku Dewi Putri Ready to Attend Divorce Hearing with Andrew Andika, Wants to Separate Amicably

Kapanlagi.com - The divorce process between Andrew Andika and Tengku Dewi Putri continues. After several absences, Tengku Dewi plans to attend the next hearing to be held at the Cibinong Religious Court on Wednesday, November 13. This session will focus on the mediation process, as a preliminary step before moving on to further legal stages.

"Yes, Wednesday, I will be there, it's mandatory to attend, that's why it was postponed because both must be present, tomorrow Wednesday at 1 PM, if you want to come, please do. God willing, I will be present," Tengku Dewi stated in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Monday (11/11/2024).

To face the court process, Tengku Dewi admitted that she has prepared everything with the help of the legal team accompanying her. She feels quite calm because she has entrusted this matter to their respective legal representatives.

"We both have lawyer teams, so we just leave it to our respective legal teams," she said.

1. It's Been a Long Time Since We Separated

Since the divorce process began, Tengku Dewi revealed that they have not been living together with Andrew. Then, when asked if there is still a possibility for reconciliation, Tengku Dewi seemed firm in her decision.

"No, it's been a long time, we've been separated for a long time," she said briefly.

"If it has reached the legal stage, I think we should just settle it amicably, thank you," she added.

Tengku Dewi explained that they have been living apart since she was pregnant, about six months ago. In Tengku Dewi's view, this long-standing separation is a step towards an official separation in the eyes of the law.

"It's been a long time, since I was pregnant, about 6 months if I'm not mistaken, because in Islam, if you haven't been living together for a long time, you should have separated, just need to finalize it legally in Indonesia," she said.

2. Feeling Stronger

Despite facing heavy trials, Tengku Dewi admitted that she remains strong for her children. She feels that her strength as a mother arises naturally when she sees her children's development.

"Once you become a mother, I believe you will naturally feel strong seeing your child and their development; you have to be able to survive for your child, it will just flow naturally according to me, without having to force it," she said.

Regarding the division of assets, Tengku Dewi stated that this is not an issue between them. She prioritizes resolving this matter peacefully without disputing the assets.

"As for the shared assets, we don’t really consider that a problem, it’s more about being amicable," she concluded.
