Failed to go to Senayan, Portrait of Angel Lelga who Received Hundreds of Thousands of Votes in Jambi - Ready if Allowed

Kapanlagi.com-This year, Artist Angel Lelga also participated in the 2024 Election to become a member of the Indonesian Parliament. Although she received a large number of votes, Angel Lelga is predicted to not be able to enter Senayan because the party that supports her did not reach the 4 percent threshold to enter the parliament.

Based on the real count results from the Jambi General Election Commission on Tuesday (5/3), at 20.00 WIB, Angel Lelga obtained 10,071 votes. This number is higher compared to the votes received by the former Regent of Muaro Jambi for the 2017-2022 period, Masnah Busro, who obtained 10,038 votes.

Some political experts believe that with the number of votes obtained, Angel Lelga has a great chance if she runs in the Muaro Jambi Regent Election. Recently, Angel Lelga spoke about this opportunity in the Thamrin area, Central Jakarta.

"If the people of Jambi really want me, God willing, I will consider it," said Angel Lelga.

Angel Lelga admitted that the large number of votes she received was the result of her hard work for approximately five months of engaging with the community. Unlike previous elections she participated in, she is much more prepared for this year.

"I was quite active during the campaign, really reaching out to the people. I see great potential in Jambi, it's very good, and there hasn't been a truly satisfying touch according to me. Maybe this is what the people of Jambi have been longing for, that my presence can bring about change," said Angel Lelga.

He also admitted to receiving tremendous support from his campaign team, most of whom are the people of Jambi. According to him, this is what makes the community want him to fight again in the next Muaro Jambi Regent Election (Pilbup).

"Incidentally, my team is made up of people from Jambi, they may want me to return to Jambi. And the people of Jambi also want me to run for Regent there," he said.

Currently, Angel Lelga wants to focus on overseeing the vote counting process from the General Election Commission (KPU) until it is completed. However, she does not rule out the possibility of returning and running in the next Muaro Jambi Regent Election (Pilbup).

"I didn't think of running again. Because I want to concentrate on collecting C1 forms, because the recap from the KPU is still unfinished. For the KPU recap, it's currently around ten thousand something, but the information from my team is almost thirty thousand and above," concluded Angel Lelga.
