Family Story About Puput Novel's Disease Complications, Starting from Breast Cancer to the Heart and Lungs

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Puput Novel has been fighting against breast cancer since 2021. Apparently, her illness has experienced complications that eventually affected her heart and lungs.

"So, there are complications, affecting her heart and lungs," said Baginda Sanjaya, Puput's brother, at the funeral home in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Sunday (8/9/2024) night.

1. The Family Has Tried to Seek Treatment

His Majesty said that his family encouraged Puput to fight together against the illness he suffered. Unfortunately, fate had other plans.

"He has been fighting his illness for about 2021. We have tried our best to seek treatment, but fate had other plans," said His Majesty.

2. The Deceased Did Not Want to Appear Sick

Mentari, who is also the younger sister of the late Puput, indeed acknowledged that her brother was very strong in facing trials. That's why only a few knew about Puput's condition all this time.

"My brother is cheerful, he doesn't want to show people that he's sad, he doesn't want to appear to be sick. He always brings goodness to those around him, if he's really sad, he won't show it," explained Mentari.

3. Thinking Puput Would Recover

Initially, his brother did not want to eat or drink until the family decided to take him to the hospital a few days ago. In fact, according to His Majesty, the family still thought Puput would recover.

"Four days ago, his condition dropped, but we thought he could still recover, but in the end, he was admitted to ICU," I said His Majesty.

4. Unconscious in the ICU

Puput was truly unconscious after being admitted to the ICU. The family had also come to terms with the possibility of the worst happening, and indeed, the 50-year-old woman passed away.

"Right in the ICU, she was already unconscious. Yes, today she passed away," he concluded.

It is known that the artist and politician, Puput Novel, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at 18:24 WIB at RS MMC, Kuningan, South Jakarta. The body was then laid to rest at the funeral home in the Kebayoran Baru area of South Jakarta and was buried on Monday, September 9, 2024.
