Puput Novel Suffered from Breast Cancer Since 2021, Family Acknowledges They Have Accepted It

Kapanlagi.com - Baginda Sanjaya, who is the brother of the late Puput Novel, revealed the illness that his sister suffered from. According to Baginda, Puput had been suffering from breast cancer since 2021.

"She fought against her breast cancer, and in the end, it turned out like this," he said when met at the funeral home in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Sunday (8/9/2024) evening.

"She has been fighting her illness for about two years since 2021, we have tried our best to seek treatment but fate had other plans," Baginda added.

Since discovering she had breast cancer, Puput, who passed away at the age of 50, had already tried to treat her illness.

"It has been three years of treatment, we took medical action," explained Baginda.

Unfortunately, Puput's condition declined recently until the family decided to take her to the hospital. Moreover, the illness she suffered from had experienced complications.

"In the end, her condition had declined, it had really declined," said Baginda.

"So there are complications affecting her heart and lungs," added Baginda.

2. The Family Has Accepted

The family admitted they have accepted Puput's departure. They have tried their best for the recovery of their loved one, even though fate had other plans.

"It was indeed my sister's time to return," concluded Baginda.

It is known that the artist and politician, Puput Novel, reportedly passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at 6:24 PM WIB at RS MMC, Kuningan, South Jakarta. Currently, the body has been laid to rest at the funeral home in the Kebayoran Baru area of South Jakarta.
