Fanny Fadillah Reveals Her Activities at Home, From Picking Up and Dropping Off Kids to Trying Her Luck on YouTube

When not busy with shooting schedules, actor and comedian Fanny Fadillah chooses to spend her days with simple activities at home. The actress who played Ucup in the soap opera Bajaj Bajuri shares her daily life that is far from the camera spotlight.

"I usually pick up and drop off my child at home. At home, I sometimes play TikTok. But now I rarely open it anymore," said Fanny when met in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, recently.

Although known as an entertaining figure, Fanny admitted that she once tried to create content on YouTube with her friends. However, that journey did not go as smoothly as she imagined.

"I once made YouTube content with my friends. But it turned out to be not as easy as we imagined. Maybe it's just not the right path, so it didn't work out," she revealed.

According to Fanny, the process of creating content requires seriousness and thorough planning. "It's impressive for those who can make YouTube. For me, it turns out I tried and couldn't do it. Just stuck," she said while laughing.

She also mentioned that she started trying her luck on that platform a few years ago, but the response from the audience was not very encouraging. "It's been a while, since what year was that? Together with friends, we made stories, created content. It turns out the response was lacking," she said.

Fanny feels that there may be certain fields that are indeed more suitable for her, and YouTube is not one of them. "There are indeed people who can only excel in one field. Trying other fields, it turns out it's not suitable," she explained.

Although she once gained thousands of subscribers, Fanny ultimately decided to stop because she felt tired and did not enjoy the process. "In the end, I tried. Until I got around 4 thousand. But over time, I felt tired myself," she said.

He also realizes that success in the world of YouTube requires consistency, an interesting concept, and full dedication. "If I'm serious, maybe there really needs to be a concept, something. For me, maybe it's more like... ah, never mind, just give up first," he said with a light laugh.

Now, Fanny prefers to focus on simple routines that make her feel comfortable. Nevertheless, she still appreciates the struggles of content creators who can survive and thrive on digital platforms. There's nothing wrong with trying; if not now, when else?
