Feeling Injustice, Jonathan Frizzy Appeals the Divorce Decision with Dhena Devanka

Kapanlagi.com - Soap opera actor Jonathan Frizzy visited the South Jakarta Religious Court with his new legal team on Monday morning (7/3/2022). His visit was to inquire about the appeal request.

As previously known, the court officially decided Jonathan's divorce case with Dhena Devanka on February 17. However, there are some aspects of the verdict that made Jonathan exercise his right to appeal.

"Yesterday, I was given the opportunity to appeal because it's my right. I want to appeal because there are things that are not in accordance," Jonathan said when met at the South Jakarta Religious Court.

1. Unethical Story Backtracking

Jonathan Frizzy and his legal team feel it is unethical to explain the reasons for filing an appeal. However, in essence, he feels there is injustice.

"If I were to tell the story of the objection points, it would be unethical for me to backtrack. But the important thing is that Mr. Ijonk filed an appeal with the note that he feels there is injustice. If he feels there is injustice, everything can be from a semicolon, and if there isn't, it can also be compared," added Doddy.

2. Finding a Middle Ground

Jonathan Frizzy added that the divorce verdict was based on Dhena Devanka's lawsuit. Since there are inconsistencies, he filed an appeal.

"Actually, what Dhena wants is what she wants, if it's in accordance, it's fine, I have no objection because the children have never lacked anything. But if it's not in accordance, then think about it yourself. That's why we want to find a middle ground to make it in accordance," Jonathan emphasized.

The marriage between Jonathan Frizzy and Dhena Devanka, which has been going on since May 27, 2012, had to end after the judge of the South Jakarta Religious Court granted Dhena Devanka's divorce petition.

"Thank God for today's divorce court decision. The result is the best for my divorce petition," said Dhena Devanka after the trial at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Thursday (17/2).

4. Grateful

Dhena Devanka is grateful that the lengthy divorce process has finally come to an end. She admitted that she feels relieved even though her status has now changed to a widow.

"Although the process was quite exhausting, lasting for six months, I am grateful to the legal team. I also want to thank my mother who has been providing endless support," said Dhena Devanka.

5. Focus on Raising Children

The end of her divorce process with the man affectionately called Ijonk allows Dhena Devanka to focus more on raising her three young children.

"And also so that my mom stays healthy and lives a long life to accompany me in raising her grandchildren," Dhena Devanka firmly stated.
