File a Divorce Lawsuit Against Paula Verhoeven, Baim Wong Demands Custody of Children

"The petitioner requests permission to pronounce talaq to his wife. The petitioner also requests to be the custodian of both of his children," said Taslimah, Public Relations of the South Jakarta Religious Court, Tuesday (10/8/2024).

In the lawsuit filed, Baim Wong did not include any requests related to joint property. The focus of this lawsuit is child custody, not the division of assets.

The first hearing for the divorce between Baim Wong and Paula Verhoeven is scheduled to take place on October 23, 2024. This hearing will be the initial step in their legal divorce process.

"The agenda for the first hearing has been scheduled. The hearing will be held on October 23, 2024," said Taslimah.

The first hearing will focus on the mediation process, where both parties are required to attend to seek a peaceful solution. The panel of judges will give Baim Wong and Paula Verhoeven the opportunity to discuss and possibly reach a mutual agreement.

2. Divorce Petition Registered at Religious Court

For your information, this divorce petition was filed by Baim Wong through his attorney, Fahmi Bachmid. The divorce request is registered under case number 3477/Pdt.G/2024/PA.JS, according to data received by the South Jakarta Religious Court.

Baim Wong and Paula Verhoeven were married on November 22, 2018. During their marriage, the couple has been blessed with two sons, Kiano Tiger Wong and Kenzo Eldrago Wong.
