Harry Kiss Reveals the Meaning of the Blue Rose Adorning Vidi Aldiano's Grave

Kapanlagi.com - The extended family of the late Vidi Aldiano along with the fan community Vidies held a prayer event to commemorate the singer's birthday at TPU Tanah Kusir, South Jakarta, on Sunday (29/3/2026).

The event carried the theme 'Vidi Lives On' and was conducted with warmth despite being in a cemetery area. An atmosphere of emotion enveloped the location as fans brought various preparations to remember their idol.

Harry Kiss, Vidi Aldiano's father, stated that the entire series of events was an initiative from the loyal fans. In addition to offering prayers, the family and Vidies also prepared food and drinks to be shared with dozens of grave keepers in the area as a form of gratitude and charity.

1. Hundreds of Blue Roses

One striking thing at Vidi's grave is the presence of hundreds of blue roses. This color is indeed known to be very much associated with the figure of the singer of the song "Status Palsu" during her lifetime. In fact, flower shops around the cemetery area are already very familiar with requests for blue roses specifically intended for Vidi.

"The blue roses seem to be a symbol of Vidi, right? I just bought blue roses too. It turns out that the flower shop over there, near Bung Hatta's grave, if you ask 'Please buy Vidi's roses', they will know. So Vidi's roses are identical to blue roses. Today I'm also wearing a blue shirt," said Harry Kiss when met at TPU Tanah Kusir, South Jakarta, Sunday (29/3/2026).

2. Still Full of Surprises

This birthday moment feels very different for the family because it is the first year they are celebrating it without the physical presence of the artist. Harry reminisced how previous years were always filled with surprises planned in a grand way.

"Last year Vidi was still alive. So there was no need for prayers, just prayers for health and life. Now that she has passed away, the prayers are for the good things. Year after year the event was always a surprise for Vidi. But this year we have a surprise event too, can you imagine holding a birthday event at the grave? Strange, right?" said Harry.

3. Many are Praying

Harry also expressed deep gratitude to all parties who continue to provide support through prayers. He feels touched to see so many people who still care for and love his son even though the artist has passed away. Support from friends and the media is acknowledged to strengthen the family's heart.

"To Vidi's friends, I thank you for the many prayers for Vidi, alhamdulillah. We also need to pray so that when we pass away, there will be as many people praying for us as there were for Vidi. After Vidi passed away, so many people prayed for him. So we also hope that when we pass away, there will be many people praying for us," he explained.

4. Hold a Donation

In closing his statement, Harry hopes that all the good deeds done on Vidi's birthday can be a blessing for the deceased. He is grateful because the sustenance and prayers for his son continue to flow endlessly.

"Yes, today we will have a donation at one of the orphanages in South Jakarta. I forgot the name, I will just follow along. It seems like there will be continuous events like this. Hopefully, there will always be sustenance, Vidi's sustenance continues to flow. You all will also get the news," concluded Harry Kiss.
