Holding a Humanitarian Action, Barisan Ksatria Nusantara Ready to Guard Until Doddy Sudrajat Cancels Vanessa Angel's Grave

Kapanlagi.com - The group calling themselves Barisan Ksatria Nusantara held a demonstration at TPU Taman Islam Malaka, Srengseng area, West Jakarta on Saturday (12/1/2022) at eleven in the morning.

This humanitarian action was held to reject Doddy Sudrajat's plan to move Vanessa Angel's grave.

As previously reported, Doddy plans to move his daughter's body after the 100th day of her passing. Vanessa's grave will be placed on top of her biological mother's grave at TPU Karet Bivak.

"We, from Barisan Ksatria Nusantara in the DKI Jakarta region, along with friends from student elements and the general public, are moving for a humanitarian action to reject the demolition of the grave that we all know belongs to public figure Vanessa Angel," said Ahmad Qais, the event coordinator.

1. Control Until Stop

Ahmad Qais said that this demonstration action will not be done only once. He and the volunteers will continue to control until Doddy Sudrajat changes his mind.

"We will continue to control and sustain until Mr. Doddy says he will not dismantle Mbak Vanessa's grave. Our action will not stop until today, every time we get new information, we will continue," Ahmad said to the media.

2. Personal Initiative

Furthermore, Ahmad Qais said that in organizing this demonstration, he did not ask for permission from Faisal. This humanitarian action was purely made because they did not want to know that Vanessa Angel's grave would be dismantled and her body moved.

"This action is our own action. There is no communication (with Faisal). This is purely from our movement. We only ask for permission from the cemetery and the police to control traffic," Ahmad said.

3. No Permit Process Yet

When the KapanLagi.com team confirmed Vanessa Angel's body relocation plan, the Karet Bivak Cemetery stated that they have not received any notification from Doddy Sudrajat. Although Doddy's legal representatives claim to have arranged everything.

"For now, no family member of the late Vanessa has come here to obtain a permit and registration or anything for the body relocation," said Agus Faizal, the administrative officer of Karet Bivak Cemetery, on Monday (7/2/2022).

4. Waiting for Three Years

The Karet Bivak Cemetery revealed that the process of relocating the body can only be done after three years. This is related to the regulations issued by the Jakarta Provincial Government.

"Here, especially in cemeteries under the Jakarta Provincial Government, there is a requirement that the body can only be moved after three years. If not, it is not allowed. Specifically, cemeteries under the Jakarta Provincial Government cannot do it," explained Agus.
