His eccentric appearance and ability to always steal the spotlight have become the trademark of the famous lawyer Hotman Paris Hutapea. Behind his always flashy style, there is an extraordinary fashion routine. Without hesitation, Hotman admits to ordering one to two new suits every week.

This routine he follows to ensure his appearance is always fresh and different at all times. He even has a personal tailor who understands his taste very well.

"Actually, I have one or two new suits every week. Every week," said Hotman Paris when met in the Jalan Kapten Tendean area, Mampang, South Jakarta, on Monday (10/11/2025).

According to him, the ordering process is very modern. The tailor will send samples of new materials via WhatsApp, and Hotman just needs to choose which ones he likes.

"Every day he will message me on WhatsApp, he finds new materials, he messages me, I just choose. Then, after that, within a week it's done, and it's sent again," he explained.

Hotman also revealed that his style has evolved over the past five years. If before he preferred more subdued suits, now he is bolder in playing with flashy or "bling-bling" styles to match his image in the entertainment world.

"In the last five years, I have changed, all of the suits are bling-bling," he said. For mixing and matching, he often hands it over to his wife or his very well-trained house assistant.

"I choose the suit, but the combination is if there’s no wife, and I have a housekeeper, well, she has been with me for years, she is very good at combining the suit, which tie matches," said Hotman.
