Shortly after hearing the news, Jihane Almira immediately changed her Instagram profile picture to the Indonesian flag. She also uploaded a photo of the Indonesian flag with a caption expressing her response to Andre Sleigh's quip.

"My main intention and purpose is to proudly represent and showcase INDONESIA/NS in the best possible way. Whoever and WHATEVER touches my country, I will move forward," Jihane said on Tuesday on her Instagram.
