Inul Daratista Acknowledges Never Being an Abstainer, Has a Unique Habit of Sharing Vitamins with Polling Station Officers

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Inul Daratista along with her husband, Adam Suseno, exercised their voting rights in the DKI Jakarta Regional Election held on Wednesday (27/11/2024). The couple voted at polling station 92 located in the Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta.

Since morning, Inul Daratista and Adam have been preparing to be present at the polling station. They both wore matching white outfits.

"Every five years we are given the right to vote, we should use our rights. Whoever is chosen by the majority of the people of Jakarta, whoever wins, we will follow. The important thing is that we have used our rights," said Adam Suseno in the Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (27/11/2024).

1. Claiming to Always Actively Vote

Inul herself revealed that she has always been active in voting since she was 17 years old. She feels it is important to contribute in every election, whether it is the presidential election or the regional election.

"I participate in every presidential election, regional election, whatever it is, I always join. Since I was 17, I have always contributed to make it lively. So it seems a shame not to participate, because one vote is very valuable. So I haven't (missed voting) since whenever," said Inul.

2. Has a Unique Habit

In addition, Inul also has a unique habit when attending events like this. She often shares food with the officers and local residents. This time, she provided vitamins in the form of swiftlet nest drinks and donuts to maintain the stamina of the polling station officers.

"That's pretty normal for me, I really love sharing food," said Inul.

Inul admitted that this sharing tradition has been something she has done since living in her hometown of Adam. When she often participated in neighborhood activities or PKK gatherings, she was always enthusiastic about helping to provide food.

3. Happy to Share

"I like to share, I don’t know, that’s already my passion too, it’s a habit, nothing more," said Inul.

"Before I became a person from Jakarta, in his (Adam's) village, I would join whenever there was an RT gathering, PKK arisan or whatever, I would be right at the front when it came to food, sharing, I was happiest like that. I don’t know why. Just because I enjoy it," Inul continued.

4. Hope for the New Jakarta Leader

On that occasion, Inul had high hopes for the elected leader, expressing her desire for various issues in Jakarta to be resolved soon.

"Hopefully, they can address the current situation in Jakarta which is already congested, later it will be congested, floods, it’s really unfortunate," concluded Inul.
