Join in Tasting Free Food Distributed to the Community, Baim Wong: The Food They Eat is the Food I Eat

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Baim Wong doesn't want to miss out on the charity event of free meals together with actor Giovanni Tobing. Every day, Baim Wong said there will be 100 free meals to be distributed to those in need.

Not only that, apparently the father of Kiano Tiger Wong not only participates in sharing, but Baim also joins in tasting the free meals that are distributed. Baim also said that he doesn't want to differentiate between the food that is given for free and the food he eats with his employees.

1. Same Menu

"Please enjoy this free meal. The menu they are eating is the same menu that I am eating," said Baim Wong when met in the Kebayoran Lama area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (18/1).

"So you can see that the menu is exactly the same as what my office colleagues and I are eating, there is absolutely no difference," he continued.

2. Well Prepared

Baim Wong also emphasized that the food distributed at the free restaurant is not random. Everything is well prepared, especially in terms of taste.

"So we don't make it haphazardly, usually if it's like this, the taste is not good, that's why what I eat is the same as what they eat," said Baim Wong.

3. For Those in Need

In the same occasion, Giovanni Tobing explained who the target audience of this free restaurant are. They include motorcycle taxi drivers, street sweepers, garbage collectors, beggars, recyclers, online couriers, and itinerant traders.

"Those who are most in need. Those who happen to pass by here and know about this free meal information, we conducted some small surveys and it turned out that the ones who came the most were motorcycle taxi drivers, followed by online couriers. The rest are itinerant traders, like vegetable sellers, es doger sellers, and sanitation workers in this area," said Giovanni Tobing.

4. Concerned

Baim Wong also stated his reason for wanting to be involved in this free restaurant because he is concerned about the less fortunate people. He hopes that what he is doing can bring rewards for him and the people around him.

"If I were on the streets, I would rarely have a meal and even then, it would be very basic. Instead of them spending money on food, I think we should provide free meals. The little that we give can benefit their families a lot," Baim Wong concluded.
