Actor Jonathan Frizzy could not hold back his sadness after being sentenced to 8 months in prison for the illegal vape distribution case. In what he describes as the "lowest point" of his life, Ijonk made a heartfelt request to the media crew.

With a trembling voice, Ijonk asked that the coverage of his case not be overly sensationalized. His greatest concern is the psychological impact that his three children might face if they read negative news about their father.

"That's why I ask my media friends not to sensationalize the news," he said at the Tangerang District Court on Wednesday (22/10/2025).

He exemplified how the rumor about a 12-year prison sentence made him very sad. He couldn't imagine if his children saw that news in the future.

"Some initially said I would be imprisoned for 12 years. That's very sad; my children could see that later," he lamented.

As is known, Ijonk was charged in a case involving the circulation of vape liquid containing the substance etomidate. For this case, the judge sentenced him to 8 months in prison.

In the midst of his application, Ijonk is trying to rebuild a good relationship with the media. He even hinted that there would be happy news in the future that he would definitely share.

"In the future, I also want to hold a happy event and will definitely invite all of you. So let's just support each other, like that," he said.

"It can also be proven here that I am actually in this position due to my ignorance, which is why I ended up like this," concluded Ijonk.
