A new chapter in the heated dispute between Nikita Mirzani and skincare entrepreneur Reza Gladys has returned to the South Jakarta District Court. The civil lawsuit worth Rp 244 billion filed by Nikita has now officially entered the mediation stage, opening up opportunities for both parties to reach a settlement.

This decision was made after the panel of judges stated that the legal standing of both parties was complete. The judge also suggested that this mediation process be utilized as best as possible to find a middle ground.

"So the next process is mediation. This mediation process is lengthy, so please let the parties deliberate to find a point of peace," said the chief judge at the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (22/10/2025).

In the midst of his recommendations, the judge also issued a stern warning. He reminded that if this mediation process fails and the case must proceed to trial, there will be significant consequences that both parties will have to bear.

"Well, if this case proceeds, the parties certainly understand the consequences: time, effort, and costs will undoubtedly be drained until the final legal recourse," continued the presiding judge.

As is known, this dispute began from a criminal report filed by Reza Gladys against Nikita Mirzani regarding allegations of extortion and money laundering. Not accepting this, Nikita launched a counterattack by filing a civil lawsuit for unlawful acts.

In the process, both parties have agreed to appoint two mediators. One non-judge mediator, Sri Miguna, proposed by Nikita's side, and one judge mediator, Halida Rahardhini, appointed by the court. "Alright, for the judge as a mediator, we appoint Mrs. Halida Rahardhini," the presiding judge stated firmly.

Nikita Mirzani's fantastic lawsuit is based on the alleged unilateral cancellation of a promotional partnership for beauty products by Reza Gladys. Nikita's side accuses Reza of using criminal law instruments to cancel the agreement.

"The agreement was canceled by exploiting criminal law instruments. This has caused losses, both material and immaterial," explained Nikita's attorney, Andi Syarifuddin, some time ago.

Based on this, the mother of three is demanding material damages of IDR 4 billion, losses due to negligence of IDR 40 billion, and immaterial losses reaching IDR 200 billion. Now, the fate of this lawsuit worth hundreds of billions will be determined at the negotiation table in the near future.
