Jordi Onsu Clarifies Allegations of Feuding with Mak Ifah

On that occasion, Jordi admitted to being confused by the narrative of "hostility" that has been built by the public. According to him, the term hostility is not appropriate to use because fundamentally he has not had personal closeness since childhood.

"I'm actually confused about how to be called an enemy, right? Because since we were kids, we never knew each other. So if you say we're enemies, it's not that we're enemies, we might not even know each other," said Jordi Onsu when met at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten, Thursday (20/11/2025).

2. Not Out of Vengeance

Jordi explained that his childhood memory only records figures who were always there for his family. He emphasized that this ignorance is not due to vengeance, but rather because of family history that was once told by his late mother. He feels it is strange if he suddenly has to act close to someone who only appeared when he was already an adult.

"I remember mom and dad when we were little, who the uncles and aunts were that were with us since we were kids, right? So it seems like we didn't know them, didn't know. Because mom had told the story of how it was back then," he said.

When asked further about feelings of resentment, Jordi dismissed the notion. He emphasized that he does not harbor anger, but rather feels strange. For him, this situation feels awkward, considering he is already in his thirties.

"Well, here's the thing. I read through it, right? Some say it feels like resentment or not forgiving. So, maybe if we talk about it straightforwardly, it's not resentment. There's no resentment, no anger, it just feels like there's no feeling at all, actually," Jordi explained.

6. Appearing After Parents Passed Away

He also gave an analogy about the situation he is currently facing. For him, it is natural to feel confused when relatives suddenly appear after both of his parents have passed away.

"And then suddenly now meeting at this age, like 30 years old meeting people like, 'Oh this is aunt, this is uncle.' How does it feel? Confusing. Isn’t it strange? Awkward, like, 'Wait, this is what they call meeting relatives after growing up, what’s going on?' Right?" he concluded.
