Land Dispute Hearing of Mat Solar, Judge Suggests Lawsuit Be Withdrawn

Kapanlagi.com - The land dispute hearing between Mat Solar and Idris regarding the Serpong-Cinere toll road was held again at the Tangerang District Court on Tuesday (1/7/2025). This case involves a claim over land that has been used for the construction of the toll road by PT Cinere Serpong Jaya.

In this second hearing, both parties were represented by their respective legal counsels. The judge made a surprising suggestion to the plaintiff, namely that the lawsuit filed by Mat Solar be withdrawn.

"This is the second hearing. The agenda, from the panel of judges, suggests that the lawsuit from Mr. Mat Solar be withdrawn," said Endang Hadrian, Idris's lawyer, to reporters at the court location.

When asked about the reason behind the judge's suggestion, Endang admitted he did not have definitive information. However, he suspected it was related to doubts about the legal standing of the plaintiff.

"Why it was suggested to be withdrawn, perhaps because during the first hearing there was a power of attorney whose legal standing was questionable," added Endang, expressing his view.

1. Waiting for the Next Step from Mat Solar

Furthermore, Endang explained that doubts about the legal standing arose because the power of attorney used by Mat Solar was only equipped with a thumbprint. According to him, this becomes a legal issue because it should involve an authorized official.

"If using a thumbprint, it must involve an authorized official. That is why the judge suggested that the lawsuit be withdrawn," he further explained.

Endang stated that his side can only wait for the next step from Mat Solar as the plaintiff. According to him, the available options are to refile the lawsuit by correcting the existing deficiencies or to choose another course of action. "I will wait. Because we (the defendants) are the ones being sued," he concluded.

2. Complicated

This land dispute case is indeed not simple. Mat Solar, an actor famous from the sitcom Bajaj Bajuri, claims that the land used for the toll road is his. However, on the other hand, the land is also claimed by Idris.

As a resolution effort, the Provincial Government has prepared compensation funds amounting to Rp 3.3 billion. However, the money is not handed directly to Mat Solar, but is deposited in the Tangerang District Court due to ownership conflicts.

The problem becomes even more complicated because Idris claims to have transferred the land to Rusli without a sales process. Rusli then transferred the land to Mat Solar, causing the actor to feel entitled to the land compensation money.
