Senior actor Fahmi Bo brings good news regarding his improving health condition. After going through a difficult time and having to rely on others for assistance, the Tukang Ojek Pengkolan actor has started to show significant physical progress.

Fahmi Bo revealed that he can now start to perform light activities independently. Although he is still using a wheelchair, he admits that he is no longer just lying in bed. This change is a breath of fresh air for Fahmi, who has been longing to return to normal activities.

"Yes, thank God, now I can move from the wheelchair, from the bed to the wheelchair, I can do it. By myself. Independent, I mean, shifting, shifting by myself," said Fahmi Bo when met in the Pejaten area, South Jakarta, Friday (27/2/2026).

Fahmi Bo's recovery is certainly supported by strong moral support. His wife, Nita Anita, who is now back by his side, revealed that the key to her husband's physical progress is the strong determination from within himself. Without that spirit, medical assistance and prayers alone would not be enough.

"Because his spirit is high to be healthy, to recover. The point is, it all comes from within oneself. Others can only help with prayers, help with effort, but if he doesn’t have the spirit to recover, it will be difficult," Nita expressed.

Although physically he has improved, Fahmi Bo admits that he still feels nervous when he has to travel using a vehicle. The process of transferring from a wheelchair to a car still weighs on his mind, making him quite mentally stressed when he wants to leave the house.

"It's just that, from the wheelchair to the car, I have to be lifted. That's it," said Fahmi Bo.

A strong desire to see his children and grandchildren is the main motivation for Fahmi Bo to continue his therapy. He does not want to remain trapped in illness and hopes to fully recover soon so he can engage in activities as he used to.

"Well, what else can I do now, right? I already have a family, so I can't just keep being sick. So, I try to do what I can, as best as I can. Thank God, I'm just left with being independent," concluded Fahmi Bo.
