After a long silence, Veri Afandi (Veri AFI) is facing a serious health issue. The first season champion of AFI posted about the condition of one of his eyes which is bandaged. Once famous, here is Veri AFI's life journey up to now.

The name Veri Afandi was popular in the 2000s. He gained fame after becoming the first champion of Akademi Fantasi Indosiar (AFI) 2003–2004.

His activities were once busy on TV shows, but now he no longer appears on television. However, Veri remains active with various offline jobs such as singing for events and local concerts.

In the statement he posted, after the retina surgery, his vision cannot return to normal, but at least it can be improved to be better than it is now.

Veri also gave another update after undergoing surgery. Veri mentioned that his condition has improved and there is no pain, although he did experience severe pain in his eye and head after the surgery.
