8 Portraits of Nikita Mirzani Mentioning the Prosecutor's Allegations in the Reza Gladys Case as Hallucinations - Highlighting the Words That Were Omitted

The first hearing of the alleged threats and extortion case involving artist Nikita Mirzani was held at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (24/6/2025). During the trial, Nikita denied the contents of the indictment read by the Public Prosecutor (JPU).

"This is a hallucination, Your Honor, because there are so many," said Nikita, who was then interrupted by the presiding judge in the courtroom. Here are the details.

The presiding judge immediately responded to Nikita's statement, which was deemed too lengthy. He asked Nikita to stay focused on the main issue. "Just a moment, whatever the content is, do you understand it?" asked the judge.

Nikita explained that she understands part of the indictment, especially regarding her personal identity. However, she feels that many points in the indictment do not correspond to reality.

"If my identity is being questioned, that's true. But the content states that I did not commit acts of violence, let alone money laundering as mentioned by the public prosecutor," she said.

The mother of three also mentioned that most of the contents of the indictment are fictional. She expressed disappointment with how the public prosecutor structured the indictment against her. "Most of the content is fictional, Your Honor," Nikita continued.

The judge then asked Nikita to express her objections through the applicable legal mechanisms. He considered Nikita's explanation in the courtroom to be too convoluted. "According to you, is the content fictional or whatever it is, but you understand, right?" said the Chief Judge.

Nikita reiterated that she understands part of the indictment, although she still feels that much of it does not align with the facts. She also stated that she will file an exception in the next hearing. "Yes, I understand, part of it I understand, part of it I do not," Nikita replied.

Nikita believes that many of the statements made by the public prosecutor are unfounded and referred to the indictment as nonsense. She also accused them of omitting several important points in the indictment. "I already know, I will file an exception because everything that the public prosecutor talked about is nonsense. Many words have been omitted," she revealed.

In response to this, the judge gave Nikita the opportunity to present her objections in the next hearing. The next hearing is scheduled to take place on July 1, 2025. "There will be time for that. Please, if you wish to use an exception or objection. If you are not ready, we will give you time," said the Chief Judge.
