The news of the passing of Ibrahim Sjarief Assegaf, husband of Najwa Shihab, shocked the public. One of those who felt the loss was Bella Fawzi. She expressed her deep sympathy to the family of the deceased, especially to Najwa.

To the media, Bella said she just learned about the sad news through social media. "I just found out about mba Nana's husband's passing from social media," Bella Fawzi said at the mourning home in the Jeruk Purut area, South Jakarta, Tuesday (20/5/2025).

Without waiting long, Bella, who was in the vicinity of the mourning home, immediately decided to come and pay her respects. "So I told my sister, I think I should go today since I'm already out, so I can visit," she revealed.

When meeting directly with Najwa Shihab, Bella saw that the senior journalist was trying to be strong even though her sadness was clearly visible.

Bella herself has experienced the loss of a loved one, namely her own mother, Marissa Haque, so she can somewhat relate to what Najwa is going through.

She also conveyed that prayers and support from close people are greatly needed by the grieving family.

"What we can do besides sending prayers is to send support in any form because that is what the grieving family needs the most," Bella concluded.
