The passing of Ricky Siahaan on April 19, 2025, is a deep sorrow for the extended family of Seringai. Ricky passed away after performing in Japan as part of the East Asia concert tour titled Seringai Signature Time Wolves of East Asia Tour 2025.

Seringai's vocalist, Arian Arifin, commonly known as Arian13, expressed how shocking the news was. He stated that the loss of Ricky was felt not only by family and bandmates but also by many people who knew him.

"We are all very shocked, especially the family because none of us knew. And it turns out that it wasn't just us; everyone who saw that being friends with Ricky was a privilege," said Arian at the Sentosa Funeral Home, Central Jakarta, Saturday (26/4/2025).

According to Arian, the way Ricky passed away actually shows how great his dedication to music was. He believes his friend left after doing what he loved the most. "Ricky passed away after he played the music he loved and to the fullest. That is what we will always remember. And we will always remember Ricky," Arian said.

For Arian, Ricky is not just a guitarist, but also an inspiring figure in various aspects of life. He feels that Ricky's departure is an irreplaceable loss.

"He left this world bravely. Our friends from Indonesia, Japan, and family have done their utmost to bring Ricky back to Indonesia," he said.

Arian also explained the meaning behind the many stickers placed on Ricky's coffin. This serves as a final tribute from friends and the music community who knew the deceased.

"And now he is here, maybe some don’t know or family who are asking why there are so many stickers from friends here," he said.

"This is our way of honoring Ricky by marking his favorite bands, his favorite band stickers, and stickers of Ricky's friends," Arian continued.

Although it was difficult, Arian tried to let go of Ricky's departure in the most familiar and personal way. He conveyed his farewell with a touch of humor characteristic of their friendship.

"Goodbye, Ricky. It seems like no one could be more gallant than you," he said.

Ricky's style, which remained consistent until the end of his life, also became part of the unforgettable memories. Arian even mentioned his friend's distinctive attributes in detail.

"Look, you die, you wear a Suicidal Tendencies bandana, you wear Vans shoes, later we'll send the invoice to the fans, okay? Branding until death," concluded Arian.
