Buried Near His Parents, Ricky Siahaan is Remembered as a Humorous and Humble Figure

Kapanlagi.com - The body of Ricky Siahaan, the guitarist of Seringai, is scheduled to be buried at San Diego Hills, Karawang, West Java on Saturday (26/4/2025). This decision is not without reason, as Ricky's parents are also buried in the same place.

Wendi Putranto, the manager of Seringai, explained that the choice of burial location was indeed the family's wish. The closeness to his parents was the main reason.

"The burial at San Diego Hills is because coincidentally Ricky's father and mother had already passed away and were buried there. So the family intentionally chose a grave close by," Wendi revealed when met at the Sentosa Funeral Home RSPAD Gatot Subroto, Thursday (24/4/2025).

Ricky himself is known not only for his musicality but also for his personal character. For Wendi, who has known Ricky for a long time, this guitarist is a warm person and easily gets along with anyone.

"Ricky is a very humorous figure, and people always see him as humble, always close to anyone, including fans and friends," said Wendi.

Their friendship has been established for a long time, even before Wendi became the manager of Seringai. They were colleagues at Rolling Stone Indonesia for many years.

"So besides Seringai, Ricky and I also worked at Rolling Stone Indonesia, we were colleagues for almost 13 years. So I was quite close to Ricky, before he became the manager of this band," he said.

Memories of Ricky are also inseparable from his habit of treating his friends. Such small things become warm memories for those closest to him.

"So he loved to treat. When we used to leave the office, have lunch, or go somewhere, he would always treat us," said Wendi.

Ricky's departure leaves a deep sorrow, not only for the band and friends but also for his small family. He leaves behind a wife and a 15-year-old daughter.

"Leaving behind one child and one wife. His daughter is 15 years old," Wendi briefly stated.
