She also revealed the terms of cooperation related to this song. According to Mahalini, the contract with the previous singer lasted for one year and did not use a buyout scheme.
Mahalini stated that the legal aspects have been discussed since before the Anggis Devaki version was released. She added that the provisions had already been communicated to the singer who previously performed Percuma.
"This song indeed has a contract for only one year and before the release, the legality was discussed and it was also informed to the previous singer," wrote Mahalini in her response.
The performer of Sial also mentioned that she cannot confirm the accuracy of all the circulating news. However, based on the information she holds, the launch of her latest version does not violate any laws or existing agreements.
"As far as I know, all of this has been confirmed to be legally correct and there has been no missed notification. Thank you," she continued.
