Maia Estianty Finally Speaks Up About Al Ghazali and Alyssa Daguise's Secret Marriage, Here are the Facts

The rumors intensified after a response from Ustaz Derry Sulaiman. He admitted that Ahmad Dhani had asked him earlier to perform a secret marriage for his eldest son to prevent adultery.

When asked about the rumors of Al Ghazali and Alyssa Daguise's secret marriage, Maia Estianty dismissed them. She stated that there has not been a marriage between her child and his girlfriend.

"No, absolutely not (a secret marriage has taken place)," Maia firmly said when met in South Jakarta on Thursday (3/3/2022).

Maia Estianty apparently has a different perspective on secret marriages. She disagrees with secret marriages but doesn't have a problem if the marriage is done religiously.

"If the marriage is done religiously, it's not a problem. But if it's a secret marriage, that's different. Because my first marriage with Mas Dhani was a religious marriage. For me, it's not a problem," said the mother of three children.

Maia Estianty herself does not object if Al Ghazali wants to seriously build a household with Alyssa Daguise. Because when she married Ahmad Dhani, she was also very young.

"I got married to Al's father when I was also young. It's not a problem. Al is now 24 years old, his father also got married at the age of 24, so there's no problem," she emphasized.

When asked if Al Ghazali and Alyssa Daguise will marry soon, Maia Estianty admitted that she doesn't know. She wants it to be a surprise.
