Mansyur S Tells the Chronology of His Wife's Death in His Arms

The passing of Hj. Rosidah binti Ismail left deep emotional memories for her husband, Mansyur S. The senior dangdut singer witnessed the final moments as his soulmate took her last breath. It turns out that the late woman passed away right in the arms of Mansyur S on Monday morning.

Mansyur S recounted that on the morning before she passed away, his wife's condition seemed normal. The late woman even managed to eat well. Mansyur also had time to do his exercise routine at home while monitoring his wife, who was being fed by her niece.

However, the calm atmosphere changed when his niece informed him that his wife suddenly stopped chewing her food. Mansyur S, who had just finished exercising, immediately approached and tried to give first aid by providing water.

"My nephew is the one who feeds her. At the end of the meal, my nephew informed me that she had stopped eating. Here is the chronology of what happened this morning, precisely at 9 o'clock minus a few minutes. I stopped [exercising], I took some water, and I gave it to her. Then I moved her, and she did not respond anymore," said Mansyur S at the Jayakarta Cemetery Complex, East Jakarta, Monday (5/12/2026).

Seeing there was no response, Mansyur S immediately held his wife's head. At that moment, Hj. Rosidah finally breathed her last right in Mansyur S's hands. The moment of parting felt very sudden because there were no signs or special messages from the deceased beforehand.

"She passed away right in my hands this morning. As soon as she stopped eating, I gave her water, immediately I held her head, and then she fell with her head here. And that was the end of the life of a wife whom I loved," said Mansyur S.

Although shocked, Mansyur S tried to strengthen his heart and accept this fate. He realized that as a human, he could not reject the will of the Creator who has determined the lifespan of each of His servants.

"No response anymore, I asked [to check] his heart... Here it is. How shocking, because there were no signs, no messages. Just something that I really can't forget..." said Mansyur S, pausing momentarily to hold back his tears.

In front of the mourners, Mansyur S reaffirmed his sincerity. For him, the reality that his wife passed away in his embrace is a final memory that he will always keep as proof of their true love until death separates them.

"But whatever this is what I say, Kullu nafsin dzaiqotul maut, everyone will return to death," he concluded.
