Mansyur S Remembers His Late Wife, Once Cried on Their Wedding Day

At that time, Mansyur S had to leave for work even though the wedding ceremony was not yet fully completed. He recalled how his wife could only cry when she saw her husband leaving home on their first night together to fulfill his obligations on stage.

"Many, many unforgettable memories. There is one, when I was the bride in the '70s, at 8 PM I was already picked up to sing. I was picked up to sing at a dormitory in Cikarang. Poor thing, she cried when left by her husband who was still at the wedding. That is one thing I can never forget," reminisced Mansyur S.

Since that moment, the late Hj. Rosidah continued to faithfully accompany Mansyur S's career journey until he reached the peak of success. For Mansyur, his wife was the answer to his prayers for a pious companion who could build a family filled with peace, love, and mercy.

The devotion of the wife in worship and her way of taking care of the children is something that Mansyur S is very grateful for. The late wife is considered to have succeeded in being an extraordinary mother for their children, helping them grow into good and successful individuals. 

"Furthermore, when I started a family, I longed for a pious wife, pious, pious. And a family that is Sakinah Mawaddah Warahmah. Alhamdulillah, I found that in my late wife, Hj. Rosyida binti Ismail. I received her devotion, taking care of the children, they must be good children, successful children. Alhamdulillah," he expressed again.

Besides her personality, Mansyur S also deeply misses the simple things about his wife, especially in the kitchen. For him, the taste of his wife's cooking has a special quality that he will never find elsewhere after her departure.

"There is one last thing that I will never forget, I miss his cooking. His cooking is extraordinary. That's all," added the senior dangdut singer.

Now, after 56 years together, Mansyur S can only let go of his wife with a sincere prayer. He hopes that all the good deeds of Hj. Rosyida will be accepted by God and that she will receive the most honorable place.

"I believe as a husband who has experienced the ups and downs of life, hopefully my beloved late wife Hj. Rosyida will receive a proper place in the eyes of Allah. May her grave be spacious, may Allah forgive all her shortcomings, and may she have a good ending," he concluded.
