Actor and singer Devano Danendra uploaded a surprising announcement on his social media account. This child of Iis Dahlia made a significant decision to remove his surname 'Danendra' from all public activities. At the beginning of 2026, he officially wants to be known simply as DEVANO.

The man born on September 23, 2002, stated that starting this year he will only use the name Devano for career and stage purposes. He also revealed a specific reason behind that decision, which has drawn various public reactions.

The decision he uploaded on Friday, January 2, 2026, started with a friendly greeting. "Dear friends, I would like to inform you that this year..," was his initial statement.

In his statement, Devano wrote a message to his fans and friends: "I will be dropping my last name 'Danendra' and will only use the name Devano for stage purposes."

According to Devano, the main reason behind this decision is that his last name has often been mispronounced or misspelled by many since the beginning of his career.
